What is Final Dash?

Final Dash is a rhythm-based geometry platformer where you navigate through challenging levels by jumping, flying, and flipping through obstacles set to music. It features 20+ unique gamemodes, a built-in level editor, online multiplayer arenas, and a thriving community of hundreds of thousands of players.

It's developed by Boot Dark Games, an indie studio based in Mexico City.

Is Final Dash free to play?

Yes! Final Dash is free to download and play. The game is supported by optional ads and in-app purchases. You can purchase an ad-free experience or cosmetic bundles, but all core gameplay content is accessible for free.

Gameplay
How many gamemodes are there?

Final Dash features over 20 unique gamemodes, each with different physics and controls:

Cube, Ship, Ball, UFO, Robot, Spider, Wave, Swing, Jetpack, Voider, Pacman, Star, Stomper, Cross, Sling, Fireball, Inverted, Pads, Double, Meteor, and more.

Each gamemode can appear in both official and community-created levels, and many levels combine multiple gamemodes in creative ways.

How do I create my own levels?

Final Dash includes a powerful built-in level editor. To create a level:

  • Open the Level Editor from the main menu.
  • Place blocks, obstacles, decorations, and triggers on the grid.
  • Choose music, set speed changes, and configure gameplay triggers.
  • Test your level in real-time as you build.
  • Once you're satisfied, publish it for the community to play and rate.

Over 16,000 community levels have been created using the editor!

How does the online arena / versus mode work?

The online arena lets you compete against other players in real-time. Match types include:

  • 1v1 Duels — Head-to-head matches where the fastest player wins.
  • 4-Player Matches — Compete against three other players simultaneously.
  • 8-Player Free-for-All — Large-scale battles with eight players.

Matches use an ELO-based ranking system for fair matchmaking. Win matches to earn crowns, climb the leaderboard, and increase your rank.

What are Daily, Weekly, and Monthly levels?

These are featured community levels that rotate on a schedule:

  • Daily Level — A new featured level every day.
  • Weekly Level — A harder challenge that changes every week.
  • Monthly Level — An even tougher challenge with a month-long window.
  • Annual Level — The ultimate challenge, updated yearly.

Completing these challenges rewards you with stars, diamonds, and other in-game currencies.

Account & Data
Do I need an account to play?

No — you can play Final Dash as a guest. However, creating a free account unlocks online features like publishing levels, competing in arenas, appearing on leaderboards, and syncing progress across devices.

How is my data handled?

We take your privacy seriously. We collect only the data necessary to provide the game experience (account info, progress, device identifiers). Your data is stored securely and never sold to third parties.

What in-app purchases are available?

Final Dash offers optional purchases including:

  • Remove Ads — Permanently removes interstitial and banner ads.
  • Cosmetic bundles — Unlock icons, colors, and visual customizations.
  • Currency packs — Get in-game currencies like gems and diamonds.

All purchases are processed through Google Play or Steam. Refund policies are handled by the respective store.

Can I watch ads for rewards?

Yes! Final Dash includes optional rewarded video ads. Watch a short video ad to earn in-game rewards like extra attempts, currency, or bonuses. These are entirely voluntary — you're never forced to watch ads to progress.
